Brief history of Caywood Brown Foundation
Caywood Brown Foundation,a non-governmental organisation with reg. no. 0022482 and primary address at close B,1 IPIC Estate off Akpajio Elelenwo was incoporated in 2006 and was created based on experience of working in the community and was developed because of the specific needs of the young people in the Niger Delta to improve their knowledge of risks involved in the transmission of HIV / AIDS and to bring about positive change in the lives of the young people , supporting the work of saving lives and drastically reducing the burden of HIV/AIDS among them.
Caywood Brown Foundation covered parts of Port Harcourt local Government area of Rivers State mainly villages of Ogunabali and Elekahia. Workshops and lectures were given on the causes and prevention of HIV/AIDS including talks on the care of People Living with HIV (PLWHA), Voluntary and confidential counselling and testing were carried out.
The Caywood Brown Foundation have found out through research that the fear of exclusion and being driven away from home by parents had augmented fear of disclosure. It was also dicovered that lack of economic power and proper education was also a problem.
Hence we focus on equipping the youths to face the intellectual,spiritual and economic challenges of the country, by providing appropriate and relevant training and empowerment programmes where necessary.

Caywood Brown Foundation is a non governmental, non-political humanitarian and youth focused foundation based in Port Harcourt Nigeria. It was set up to help combat the ignorance and lack of interaction and education surrounding HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. While equipping the youths intellectually,financially and otherwise by providing them computer and business training skills.
Our Mission is to equip the youths to pursue their dreams and explore their talents and passions, in order to develop their community, one business innovation at a time,through education,advocacy and sustainable developmental programs.
To help all youths within our reach become self-secure,encouraged to pursue their dreams as leaders,and inspired to become innovators and employers of labor, Faith in God, Partnership, Diversity, Integrity, Service.
